 My client is looking to recruit a regional Director to look after 12 well known visitor attractions in the UK, annual turnover of roughly £16 million. You will have all 12 General Managers reporting into you, and in turn you will report into the MD. The key for this role is your client relationships as with any role in this business, but particularly key for the success of this role. Thus you need to demonstrate strong evidence of client relationship management. You need to have demonstrated that you have the experience in understanding and operating retail and events businesses and ideally you will have visitor attraction experience. You need to be highly organized, innovative and want to add value to your clients businesses. You need to be someone who can act independently and have a real commercial helicopter view of managing. On site there is a 200 seater table service restaurant that on average takes 500 covers as well as numerous refurbished kiosks, ice-cream parlours, BBQ spots across this stunning estate for you to manage. You will have a core team of a deputy and two assistant managers plus up to 30 casual staff according to the season. The current annual turnover is circa £1.2 mullion and you will report directly into the General Manager.
